We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Corporate, Compliance & Aviation Lawyer to join our growing team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a recent law graduate or newly qualified lawyer to develop expertise in corporate legal services, regulatory compliance, and aviation law within a dynamic and professional environment.
No previous experience in aviation or compliance is required. Comprehensive training, mentoring, and professional development will be provided to enable the successful candidate to perform all aspects of the role confidently and effectively.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the Group’s legal and compliance functions, assisting with corporate legal matters, contract drafting and review, regulatory compliance activities, and aviation oversight responsibilities related to Approved Training Organisations (ATOs) operating under the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulatory framework.
This position provides a unique career path combining traditional legal practice with highly specialized aviation compliance and regulatory oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Legal Services

  • Draft, review a variety of commercial agreements and legal documents.
  • Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial matters.
  • Support legal research and provide advice on corporate and commercial law issues.
  • Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining corporate records and legal documentation.
  • Participate in legal due diligence and transactional projects.

Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and maintaining compliance management systems.
  • Support internal compliance reviews and audits.
  • Prepare compliance reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the Dento’s activities.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance procedures.

Aviation Regulatory Oversight

  • Support the oversight and monitoring of Approved Training Organisation (ATO) activities.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable EASA regulations and standards.
  • Review manuals, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Participate in compliance monitoring activities, audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Liaise with aviation authorities, instructors, examiners, and operational personnel where required.
  • Assist in maintaining records and documentation required by aviation regulations.

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

  • A Law degree (LL.B.) is considered an advantage. 
  • Eligibility to be admitted or admitted to practice law in Cyprus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong legal drafting and analytical abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Professional, ethical, and responsible approach to work.
  • Ability to learn complex regulatory frameworks and technical subject matter.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will receive training in our practice field of corporate & commercial law, estates a & wills law, family law as well as shipping.
  • Executing fiduciary and administrative tasks.
  • Shadowing lawyers in Court and in client meetings.
  • Assisting lawyers in the preparation and presentation of cases before District Courts.
  • Preparing reports to supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • LLB with minimum grade of upper 2.1 from a British University or equivalent.
